HaryoHaryo combined over two decades of professional experience in corporate law practice, business development, general management, and applied psychology to start his independent recruitment consulting service in May 2009. After successfully managed to close numerous important executive search assignments as a solo recruiter, Haryo decided to incorporate his consulting work, and it was the time when PT Headhunter Indonesia officially established as a formal legal entity in May 2010.

Haryo’s expertise is in leading the senior executive search projects, advising clients on the strategic talent acquisition strategy, and human resources administration best practices in Indonesia. He has worked as an external consultant for Fortune 500 companies, international NGOs, public listed companies in various countries, and he also has a significant number of local enterprises on his massive clients’ portfolio.

Haryo’s articles and expert opinions have been published and quoted by various leading national media, such as Fortune Indonesia, Bloomberg Businessweek, Koran Tempo, Forum Manajemen Prasetiya Mulya, Harian Seputar Indonesia, Media Indonesia, Human Capital Magazine, HardRock FM Bali, Trijaya FM Jakarta (now MNC Trijaya FM), Indika FM, KompasTV, MetroTV, and many others.

Haryo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (majoring in International Law) from Gadjah Mada University, and he studied for a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology (majoring in Human Capital & Knowledge Management) at the University of Indonesia.

Haryo is also a Certified Master Coach from Engage & Grow (Australia) where he helps to solve the company’s employee engagement problem and to improve the company’s internal culture.

Haryo has a keen interest in good books (especially business and self-development topics), movies (action and comedy), sports (football, basketball, and morning walk) and he has been one of the loyal supporters of Manchester United, AC Milan, and Chicago Bulls since the late 80s until now.
